This article is for the Super Admin.

Compared to the webhook integration for Slack (which enables you to display the Qarrot social feed in a dedicated Slack channel), the new Qarrot app for Slack lets users send recognitions without leaving Slack, view the leaderboards, review campaign activity, and quickly access the reward catalog.

Note: you must be a Super Admin in Qarrot, and an admin in your Slack workspace to set up this integration.

To set up the Qarrot app for Slack follow these steps:

2. If prompted, sign into your Slack account by entering your workspace's URL, your email address and password, then click 'Sign In'.

3. Next, Qarrot will request permission to access your Slack workplace, click 'Allow'

4. A pop-up will request to redirect you to your Slack workspace where Qarrot will be added as an app.

That's it! Qarrot is now successfully connected to your Slack workspace and available as an app. 🎉

The next step is to let your users know that they can also add the Qarrot app to their Slack workspace.

Once the Super Admin has made the Qarrot app available in your company's Slack workspace, users can individually add it to their Slack account. To do so, simply click the '+ Add apps' button in your Slack workspace:

Then, search Qarrot or select it among the apps available in your company workspace.

If prompted, sign into your Qarrot account. The email address entered into Slack needs to match the email address for users in Qarrot.

That's it! 🎉 Go back to your Slack workspace and head to the Qarrot app to see your account's information and make someone's day by sending your first recognition in Slack.
