How to Use Your Card

  • Physical Card: Hand the card to the merchant and sign the purchase receipt.

  • Virtual Card: Enter your card details (number, expiration date, CVV) at checkout.

  • Mobile Wallet: Follow the usual process to pay using your device.

Tracking Your Balance

  • Merchants cannot check your balance for you.

  • Keep track of your available funds to avoid declined transactions.

Example Transaction

If you have a $50 Visa e-Gift Card and make a purchase for $45:

  • Remaining balance: $5

  • Next purchase: Must be $5 or less, or the transaction will not go through.

Purchases Exceeding Card Balance

If you attempt to make a purchase that exceeds your card's available balance:

  • The transaction will be declined.

  • You may ask the merchant to split the payment between your prepaid card and another form of payment.

  • Split payments are only possible if the store’s policy allows them.

  • If permitted, you must specify how much to deduct from your prepaid card and what other payment method you will use to cover the remaining balance.

Workaround for Leftover Funds

If you have a small remaining balance on your prepaid card, you can use it to fund an Amazon account:

  1. Log in to your Amazon account.

  2. Go to 'Your Account'.

  3. Select 'Gift Cards'.

  4. Click 'Reload Your Balance'.

  5. Choose 'One Time Reload', then enter your remaining balance in the 'Other' field.

Note: Amazon requires a minimum reload amount of $5.

Now your prepaid card balance is converted into Amazon credit, which can be used on your next purchase.

By understanding these details, you can make the most of your prepaid financial card rewards!
