Managing your catalog

Qarrot makes it easy to manage the rewards available in your reward catalog and to add custom rewards

This article is for Admins

Your reward catalog is a collection of rewards that users can choose from when redeeming their Spending points. The reward catalog gives your team the choice of:

  • Digital gift cards from hundreds of brands across 40+ countries

  • Donation rewards

  • Company-provided custom rewards

  • Amazon merchandise (U.S. only)

Admins can also control which reward categories are visible to users by enabling or disabling categories within the catalog settings.


Enable or disable reward categories

Admins can manage which types of rewards appear in the catalog for users.

To manage reward categories:

  1. Select the category on the left side menu

  2. Enable or disable the categories you want available to users

Available categories may include:

  • Gift cards

  • Donations

  • Custom rewards

  • Amazon merchandise (U.S. only)

When the Amazon merchandise category is enabled, users can redeem eligible Amazon rewards available in their region. If disabled, Amazon merchandise rewards will no longer appear in the catalog for users.

Disabling a category only removes it from future redemptions. Previous redemptions and reporting history remain available.



Create custom rewards

You can create custom rewards (sometimes referred to as "company-provided rewards") any time by going to Manage > Catalog, selecting "Add custom reward", and following the subsequent steps.

Examples include:

  • Extra vacation days

  • Team lunches

  • Vouchers from local retailers

  • Company swag

  • Parking spots

  • Event tickets

Redeem rewards

Digital gift cards

When a user redeems points for a digital gift card, the reward is automatically delivered by email.

Custom rewards

When a user redeems a custom reward, the designated fulfillment contact is notified so they can provide the reward manually.

The fulfillment contact does not need to be a Qarrot user to fulfill company-provided rewards.

Understand how reward funding works in Qarrot

Reward funding is used to pay for gift cards, donations, and Amazon reward redemptions made through your catalog. Admins can add funds to the account at any time.

To add funds:

  1. Select Deposit funds

A 5% service charge applies to reward funding deposits made by credit card.

Depending on your region, additional funding methods may be available. For more information, see: Payment options to add rewards funding to your Qarrot account

When reward funding is used

Reward funding is typically used when users redeem:

  • Digital gift cards or donations

  • Amazon rewards

Custom company-provided rewards do not deduct from your reward funding balance.

Monitoring your funding balance

Admins can monitor the current funding balance and deposit history from the Manage > Funds section and on the Rewards & Costs dashboard.

Keeping sufficient funds available helps ensure rewards are delivered without interruption.


Filter and manage catalog content

You can organize and filter your catalog to quickly find rewards.

Available filters include:

  • Category

  • Enabled or disabled status

  • Country


View reward redemption history

To review previous reward redemptions, go to Manage > Redemptions, or generate the Rewards report from Manage > Reports
