Understanding the Rewards and Costs Dashboard for program administrators and team leads

Who can use this dashboard?

  • Administrators can view rewards and cost data for all users

  • Team leads can view redemption activity for their own team(s)

The Rewards and Costs Dashboard provides a financial overview of your program, including current funding, redemption activity, and projected reward costs.


📊 What You’ll See in the Dashboard

The top section of the dashboard displays key financial and redemption metrics:

💳 Funds

Displays your organization’s current rewards funding balance.

💵 Unspent Points Value

Shows the total dollar value of all spending points currently held by users.

Previously referred to as rewards liability.

🎁 Redemptions

Total number of rewards redeemed during the selected timeframe.

  • By Type (Redemptions)

Breaks down redemptions by reward type:

  • Custom rewards (company-provided)

  • Gift cards

  • Donations

  • Top Redeemers

Lists the employees who have redeemed the most rewards.

  • Top Rewards

Shows the most frequently redeemed reward items.

📆 [Timeframe] Cost

Displays the total cost in dollars of all rewards redeemed during the selected timeframe.

Note: Custom rewards are excluded from this total.

  • By Type (Costs)

Breakdown of reward costs by type, excluding custom rewards:

  • Gift cards

  • Donations

  • Top Spenders

Lists employees who have spent the most on rewards.

📈 Projected Cost

Shows the estimated total cost of rewards for the full calendar year.

Based on a straight-line projection of average monthly costs.

Includes a breakdown of projected point costs by source:

  • Birthdays

  • Work anniversaries

  • Service awards

  • Employee budgets

  • Team leads budgets

  • Custom budgets


📄 Report: Rewards Redeemed

The bottom of the dashboard displays the Rewards Redeemed report, which lists all reward redemptions during the selected timeframe.

Each entry includes:

  • User's name, status, role and team(s)

  • Reward type

  • Reward name

  • Date redeemed

  • Cost in points, USD and local currency

  • Country of redemption

  • Record attachment (is there a document attached to the reward order: yes/no)

  • Record note (is there a note attached to the reward order: yes/no)

You can filter this report by timeframe, team, or reward type, or export it for further analysis.

What is the unspent points value?

It’s the total dollar value of all spending points currently available to users.

Are custom rewards included in cost totals?

No, custom rewards are excluded from the timeframe cost and projected cost sections.

Can I export the Rewards Redeemed report?

Yes, the report can be exported in CSV or XLS format.
