Qarrot seamlessly integrates with Microsoft Teams, enhancing team collaboration and morale. This guide provides a comprehensive walkthrough of signing into Qarrot, interacting with the feed, sending recognitions and participating in campaigns within the Microsoft Teams environment.

1. Sign in to your Qarrot account in Teams and navigate the feed

a. Once installed, Qarrot will appear as an app in the Teams interface.

If the app is installed organization-wide but you don't see it in your left-hand taskbar in Teams, here's how to find the Qarrot app and pin it to your taskbar.

b. Click on the Qarrot app icon, then click the Sign in to Qarrot button and enter your username and password.

Note: you'll stay signed in to your Qarrot account in Teams for 30 days, but you'll have to log in again if you don't interact with the app during this timeframe.

c. When logged in, you'll see the Home feed where you can view all public recognitions, announcements, milestone and campaign awards earned by your peers.

2. Send a recognition in Teams

a. After logging in, click 'Recognize' at the top of the Home feed.

b. A form will pop up asking for the following information. Simply fill it out to recognize someone:

  • 'Who do you want to recognize today?'

Select the people you want to send this recognition to.

  • 'What do you want to tell them?'

Write a personalized message expressing your appreciation.

  • 'What badge best illustrates this recognition'

Find a company value badge that fits the occasion (if applicable).

  • 'Add points'

Enter the point amount you'd like to give each recipient (if applicable).

c. Click "Send" to post the recognition to the Home feed for all team members to see.

3. Participate in a campaign in Teams

a. Click Campaigns in the top menu bar to access all the campaigns you've been invited to participate in.

b. If the campaign requires you to update your results, you'll see a form on the right end to submit a new result.

Note: the unit label and the fields you must complete may differ depending on the campaign's requirements.

c. Submit a result by completing the fields (all fields are mandatory). After submitting a result, you can review its status (if the campaign manager has to approve it) from the Results tab.
