What is a campaign and how can employees participate?

Updated this week

Campaigns are a feature within Qarrot that your organization or your manager can use to award you and your coworkers for reaching specific goals. If you're invited to participate in a campaign, you'll receive a notification and you'll see the campaign on your Campaigns page (which you can access from the top menu bar).

Originally designed to support sales managers wanting to incentivize their teams to reach revenue goals, Qarrot customers use campaigns for a range of objectives:

Promoting health and wellness.

For example, a campaign that allows a company's employees to earn points for eligible wellness activities, such as the number of weekly steps taken.

Achieving call centre metrics.

For example, a campaign that awards call centre employees for the number of calls handled per shift.

Earning 5-star customer reviews.

For example, a campaign that awards field technicians or customer support staff for every 5-star review.

Improving punctuality and lower absenteeism.

For example, a campaign that awards employees when they show up on time for their work shifts a set number of times during the month.

Getting involved in the local community.

For example, a campaign that awards employees for each hour volunteered in the community. Participants who reach a set number of hours also earn a badge, showcasing their involvement in the broader organization.

And much more ...

Campaigns are flexible and you may be invited to participate in campaigns that operate differently. For example, you may be invited to -

  • Automatic campaigns that require you to report when you complete an eligible result. If this is the case, simply open the campaign and enter your results on the right-hand side of the page.

  • Automatic campaigns that require the manager of the campaign to upload all participating employees' results. If this is the case, you don't have to do anything but you can still track your progress by opening the campaign and navigating to the 'Objectives' or the 'Leaderboard' sections.

  • Manual campaigns that don't require data. Instead, the campaign manager will simply select the winners at the campaign's close.

  • Individual campaigns in which you earn awards based on your own performance.

  • Team campaigns in which you participate as a member of a team and earn awards based on your team's performance.

We hope this article is helpful and gives you a better idea of how campaigns work and how you can participate when you're invited!
