Why use Qoach?

Research shows that effective recognition is:

  • Timely

  • Specific

  • Visible

  • Inclusive

  • Values-based

Qoach helps reinforce these principles by providing suggestions while you write, making it easier to recognize teammates in a way that's meaningful and memorable.

How Qoach works

As you write a recognition message, Qoach reviews your content and provides real-time, personalized coaching.

Rather than rewriting your recognition, Qoach offers suggestions based on five dimensions of effective recognition.

Be specific

Recognition is more meaningful when it describes exactly what someone did.

Instead of general praise, Qoach encourages you to mention the task, project, behavior, or moment you're recognizing.

Show impact

Help explain why the person's contribution mattered.

Qoach may suggest describing how their actions helped a teammate, customer, project, or business outcome.

Match company values

Recognition becomes even more meaningful when it reinforces your organization's values.

When appropriate, Qoach may recommend connecting the recognition to one of your company's values or goals.

Make it personal

The best recognition feels authentic.

Qoach encourages you to include the recipient's name and details that make the message feel unique to them.

Sound genuine

Recognition shouldn't sound robotic.

Qoach may suggest adding your own perspective (why their contribution stood out or how it made a difference to you).

You're always in control

Qoach is a coach, not an editor.

It never:

  • Blocks you from sending recognition

  • Automatically changes your message

  • Posts recognition on your behalf

Every suggestion is optional.

You decide whether to apply Qoach's recommendations or send your recognition exactly as you've written it.

Example

Instead of writing:

Great job on the project!

Qoach might suggest:

Great job leading the client onboarding project this week. Your proactive communication helped the team stay aligned and ensured a smooth launch for the customer.

Sometimes a little more context is all it takes to make recognition feel more meaningful.
