Resend an activation email

If a pending account cannot retrieve the activation email, you can resend it to them anytime.

This article is for all Admins.

If a person shows the status 'Pending' in Manage > People, it means they haven't verified their email address yet and aren't actively participating in your program.

If the person can't find the original 'Welcome' email they were sent when invited to join Qarrot, you have the possibility as an Admin to resend the activation email to them.

Note: Resending a pending user's activation email is not the same as sharing a link invitation. Do not share the link invitation with a pending user, they won't be able to register because their email address already exists in Qarrot.

To resend a pending account's activation email, just follow these steps:

1. First, make sure the person's email is correctly spelled (if not, edit their email address before resending the activation email).

2. Click on the 'email' icon in the user's row, and select 'Resend invitation':

Or, from the user's profile, by clicking the three-dot icon next to the 'Deactivate' button and by selecting 'Resend invitation' among the options:

3. A prompt will appear to confirm that an activation email should be sent to this user. Select 'Confirm'.

A new activation email will be instantly sent to this user, by clicking it, they will be able to create a password for their Qarrot account and log in.

If the person has difficulties receiving the activation email, Admins have the possibility to copy their activation link and share it with them directly.
