Post an Announcement

Announcements are a great way to share important updates, celebrate achievements, or communicate with your organization directly on the Qarrot Home feed.

Who Can Post Announcements

  • Admins → Can post announcements visible to the entire company.

  • Team Leaders → Can post announcements visible only to their teams.

  • All Users → If enabled by the Super Admin, anyone can post announcements visible to everyone.

The Super Admin can enable announcements for all users at:
Manage > Settings > Announcements


How to Post an Announcement

  1. Go to the Home page.

  2. Click:

    • Post announcement (at the top of the feed), or

    • Megaphone icon (top-right corner on mobile):

  3. Select your audience:

    • Everyone → All users are notified and can see the post on the feed.

    • Specific individuals → Only selected users are notified and see the post.

    • Specific teams → Only members of the chosen team(s) see the post.

  4. Add a title.

  5. Compose the body.

    • Click the + icon for formatting options.

  6. (Optional) Add a banner image.

  7. (Optional) Attach documents.

  8. Click Post.


Announcement Options

When viewing an announcement, click the three-dot icon (⋮) to:

  • Edit → Authors can edit their own announcements.

  • Copy link → Share a direct link to the announcement.

  • Pin/Unpin → Keep important announcements at the top of the feed.


❓FAQs

Can team leaders post announcements to the whole company?

By defaut, team leaders can only post announcements to their teams. They can post to the whole company only if the Super Admin enables announcements for all users in settings.

Can employees post announcements?

Only if the Super Admin enables announcements for all users in settings.

Will users get notified?

Yes. Notification depends on the audience selected (everyone, individuals, or teams).
