Keep employees connected and informed of each others achievements

As an employee, you may be entitled to recognize your co-workers through Qarrot.

To do so, employee-to-employee recognition must be enabled by your program's Super Admin.

To recognize a co-worker, simply go to 'Send a Recognition' near the top of your Home page, then follow these steps:

1. Under 'Who do you want to recognize today?', click Select Recipients and enter the first few letters of the person's name or select the person(s) you want to recognize in the list.

Note: if you see a coworker's name greyed out, this means that you've reached the limit of the maximum number of recognitions you can send to this person for the current month (only your program' Super Admin can remove this limit).

2. Enter a personal message. Don't be shy! Your co-workers will appreciate knowing why you're recognizing them.

3. Select a badge. Be sure to select a badge that best represents the reason for your recognition. Not finding something suitable? Please inform your Super Admin so they can add new badges to the system.

4. Add points (optional). If you have been given a budget of Giving Points by your program Admin, you can give points along with your recognitions. If you have a budget but have already used it up, you won't be able to give away any more points until a new budget is assigned to you.

As soon as you send the recognition, it will be sent to the recipient (by email) and posted to the Social Feed.

Note: To edit your recognition message, click the three dots at the top-right corner of the post on the Social Feed and select 'Edit your recognition'. You cannot add a badge to your recognition after you've sent it. To add points afterwards, you can use the add-on functionality.
