This article is for Super Admins.
Here's a walkthrough video of the employee-to-employee recognition settings that the Super Amin can edit from the Manage > Settings > Recognitions page in their account.
Note: The peer-to-peer recognition settings don't apply to Admins, or the recognitions Team Leaders send to their Team Members (if peer-to-peer recognition is disabled, Admins can still recognize anyone in the organization, and Team Leaders can only recognize their Team Members).
The same-person monthly recognition limit
(Starting at 01:10) The same-person recognition limit sets the maximum number of times user A can recognize user B every month. This limit doesn't apply to the recognitions sent by Admin, or by Team Leaders to their Team Members.
If a user hits this limit, the name of their colleague will be greyed out and unselectable when sending a recognition:
The same-person recognition limit can be edited at any time and resets at the start of each month.
Allow people to recognize with badges
(Starting at 1:35) You can allow people to use a badge when they recognize each other. You can let them use badges without point values, with point values, and you can require them to include a badge with each recognition by making it mandatory.
Allow people to recognize with bonus points
(Starting at 3:10) You can enable people to send bonus points along with their recognitions, based on the allocated giving points budget.
Note: People can always send a recognition even if they run out of giving points.
Allow people to send private recognitions
(Starting at 3:50) If enabled, users have the option to make their recognitions private, so that only the sender and recipients can see the recognition post on the social feed. However, administrators have access to all private recognitions in the reports and can view them in the sender's and recipient's profiles under the 'Activity' tab.
Make sure to click the 'Save' button after making any changes, and you're done! 🎉
